Hello, I am Annette Coussin Zamsky. I was born in Chicago, Illinois but moved to Sarasota, Florida at just four years old and grew up there. I lived just fifteen minutes from the beach and always loved beach days, swimming in the ocean is one of my favorite things to do. My mom is from France and all of her family still lives there so I have spent all of my summers there and am bilingual in French and English. Family has always been the most important thing to me, so spending my summers with my extended family fills my heart. I have a younger brother named Thomas who is my rock, we have always had a good relationship. My dad and I share a birthday which I also love. My goal is to become a teacher and eventually live in France.
Before the pandemic I had experience with simple technology in the educational setting. I used Word and Powerpoint beginning in elementary school, so I have a pretty good understanding of those platforms. I took four photography in high school so I am fairly skilled in Photoshop. In April of 2020 I began using Zoom which I had never used before, at first I did not know all that it could do, but over the past year I have become comfortable with using it. I have conducted various research online for papers for classes.
One of my personal learning networks is my mentor, my history, psychology, and sociology teacher in high school. He inspired me to become a high school teacher and has mentored me over the past three years and continues to. I have a TikTok and have gotten onto the teacher side of it which shows various teaching tips. I also have a Pinterest on which I have a 'board' called 'future teacher' which I use to put decoration ideas, teaching ideas, and other things such as lesson plans in the future. Lastly, I use YouTube to watch videos of field observation for my Introduction to Education class. These videos show me the different styles and ways of teaching.

I've been to France as a comenius assistant and worked in a primary school as an ICT assistant. I was in Albertville and it was close to French alpes. It was a small city but I enjoyed living there for a while. By the way, French is more difficult than English, right? Or no? Je ne sais pas! : )
